From Bracelet to Pendant

This one started with a bracelet that had run its course. I melted down the 14k yellow gold and combined it with sterling silver to build a freeform pendant, then set a natural opal to bring it to life. Some people look at the shape and see a wing, others see something else entirely. Either way, it is a one of one piece made from something that already had a story of its own.
