Bring Your Own Stone
Some of our favorite pieces start with a stone someone has carried for years. A peridot kept in a drawer, a boulder opal found on a trip, a diamond from a family ring. We design a setting around your stone so it finally gets worn.
We look at the stone's shape, color and character first, then sketch or model a ring, pendant or earrings that suit it. Settings are made by hand in recycled gold or sterling silver. How it works
Show us your stone. Bring it to the studio, or send photos and we'll talk it through by phone. The first consultation is free.
Design it together. We sketch or model a setting that suits the stone and refine it with you.
Handmade in Big Bear. Most settings take 2 to 6 weeks.
Pick it up or we ship it anywhere in the US.
Custom settings start around $500. The final price depends on the metal and the design.

What stones can you set? All of them. Bring us whatever you have, from opals and peridot to family diamonds.
Do I need to bring the stone in person? No. Ship it by UPS or FedEx to our showroom at 625 Pine Knot Ave, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, and we'll design by phone and email.
